Shramjivi Satvik Bhojan Yojana has been started by the Trust on 06-06-2016 for providing Satvik Bojan to the industrial workers of low income group working in small factories or on casual basis in the industrial area of Tavdipura. The project venue is Ramdev Pir Temple in Tavdipura Area.
The workers of low income group and of casual category hardly carry any tiffin from home and eat some snacks or tea during lunch hour thereby affecting their health and in turn, capacity to work and earn. The project is therefore designed to provide Satvik Meal to this class of workers.
To begin with the Trust has started providing Satvik meal to about 50 workers daily except on the weekly holiday. A token amount of Rs.5 is charged to the workers for maintaining the dignity and regularity of the workers. So far about 7000 workers have taken the benefit of this scheme during the last 8 months.
As a gesture of goodwill all workers taking the benefit of this scheme have been insured for 5 years by the Trust.
